<![CDATA[Background of the problem: The initiative active participation is done by personal society community, is guided by their own thinking, by using the facilities and processes (organization and mechanism) where they can press an effective control. This research aims to see how the Society’s Participation in Managing the Reuse Reduce Recycle Waste Disposal Units in Solok District is. The method which is used here is a descriptive qualitative method with purposive technique. The informants are the Chief of the area, the society figures, and the people who directly involved in the Reuse Reduce Recycle Waste Disposal Units. The data is collected by using interview and observation techniques. The data is analyzed by using interactive model analysis. The result of this research shows the lack participation of the society in managing the Reuse Reduce Recycle Waste Disposal Units in Solok District. The average of the society wants a direct financial output, as the result, the orientation from this management emphasizes on economic value.]]>
