HUBUNGAN TINGKAT STRESS DENGAN SIKLUS MENSTRUASI PADA MAHASISWI TINGKAT AKHIR STIKES HAMZAR LOMBOK TIMUR

Abstrak : Menstruasi adalah perdarahan dari uterus yang terjadi secara periodik dan siklik, hal ini disebabkan karena pelepasan (deskuamasi) endometrium akibat hormon ovarium (estrogen dan progesteron) mengalami penurunan terutama progesteron, pada akhir siklus ovarium, biasanya dimulai sekitar 14 hari setelah ovulasi. Stress diketahui sebagai faktor-faktor penyebab (etiologi) terjadinya gangguan siklus menstruasi.Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan stres dengan siklus menstruasi pada mahasiswi tingkat akhir STIKes Hamzar Lombok Timur.Metode: Metode penelitian observasi deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel berjumlah 47 mahasiswi terdiri dari S1 keperawatan, S1 kebidanan dan D3 kebidanan dengan teknik sampling yaitu total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan kuesioner perceived stress scale (PSS-10) dan dianalisa dengan Spearman Rank.Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan tingkat stress dengan siklus menstruasi pada mahasiswi tingkat akhir STIKes Hamzar Lombok Timur dengan p-value 0,027 < 0,05.Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan tingkat stress dengan siklus menstruasi pada mahasiswi tingkat akhir STIKes Hamzar Lombok Timur. Kata kunci : Hubungan, Tingkat Stress, Siklus Menstruasi Abstract:Background: Menstruation is bleeding from the uterus that occurs periodically and cyclically, this is due to the release (desquamation) of the endometrium due to a decrease in ovarian hormones (estrogen and progesterone), especially progesterone, at the end of the ovarian cycle, usually starting about 14 days after ovulation. Stress is known as a causal factor (etiology) of menstrual cycle disorders.Objective: To determine the relationship between stress and the menstrual cycle in the final year of STIKes Hamzar, Lombok Timur.Methods: Descriptive observation research method with a cross sectional approach. samples were 47 people consisting of final year with the sampling technique of total sampling. The instrument used was the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10) questionnaire and analyzed by Spearman Rank .Results: The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of stress levels on the menstrual cycle in final year students of STIKes Hamzar Lombok Timur with p-value 0.027 <0.05.Conclusion: There is a relationship between stress levels and menstrual cycle in the final year of at STIKes Hamzar, Lombok Timur.
