Karawitan is a local Indonesian cultural heritage that has high aesthetic values. During its development, Karawitan culture has also experienced integration with Islamic values and religious moderation. This research aims to explore this integration and its impact on the development of Karawitan art. This research uses a qualitative approach with a focus on literature analysis, documentation, and interviews with Karawitan art experts. The research results show that the integration of Islamic values in Karawitan not only changes the musical aspect, but also creates a new dimension that combines traditional aesthetic values with Islamic teachings and religious moderation. Karawitan which is integrated with Islamic values and religious moderation makes a positive contribution in enriching the cultural diversity of Indonesian society. The implications of these findings can provide direction for artists, researchers and observers to continue to develop and preserve local culture by paying attention to religious values and religious moderation.
