<![CDATA[The capital market has an important role in the economy of a country because the capital market performs two functions, namely the economic function and the financial function. In the economic function, the capital market provides facilities to bring together two interests, namely those who have excess funds (investors) and those who need funds (issuers). This study aims to find out how Islamic principles are in transactions in the Islamic capital market in Indonesia and find out how the implementation of contracts in accordance with these Islamic principles. In this study, the authors used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This research focuses on the application of musyarakah contracts. Musyarakah is an agreement (contract) of cooperation between two or more parties (syarik) by including capital in the form of money or other forms of assets to carry out a business. The implementation of musyarakah contracts in transactions on the capital market can be carried out in buying and selling transactions of company ownership (shares) where investors can deposit a sum of money to buy a company so that the company can carry out a business with the capital provided by the investor. There are several things that may not exist in the Islamic capital market, including not containing things that are contrary to Islamic law such as the absence of usury, no elements of gambling or those belonging to it, not buying and selling which contains elements of uncertainty, not carrying out activities transactions that are unlawful in nature and substance, do not carry out activities that are detrimental or capable of damaging morale, do not carry out transactions that are contrary to sharia principles in accordance with the provisions of the DSN-MUI]]>
