Abstract

Abstrac-, In fulfilling public needs electrical energy safe and reliable, we need an electricity system that is supported by the component or equipment that are reliable against disturbances that occur such as leakage current, environmental, corrosion, pollution, etc. Pollution that occurs on the surface of the insulator can cause the insulation resistance of the insulator is reduced, which in turn lead to leakage currents or spark causing flash over To find out how much the level of pollution in the surface of an insulator installed in the distribution network we conducted testing in the field by collecting samples from several places like in the case of samples taken from these areas: Bitung, Sawangan, tomohon, ear, and Lahendong, after get the data from the field to do calculations and data processing of the samples obtained in the field., on the classification of the contamination level according to the value ESDD (equivalent salt deposit density) and NSDD (Nonsolube deposit density) for the area Bitung, ear, tomohon, Lahendong, Sawangan, the level of contamination that occurred was still categorized as mild, namely under 0,0001mg / cm2 away from the normal threshold is given at 0.1 mg / cm2 Keywords: ESDD and NSDD, flashover, insulators, pollutants Abstrak-.Dalam memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat akan energi listrik yang aman dan handal, maka dibutuhkan suatu sistem kelistrikan yang didukung oleh komponen maupun peralatan yang handal terhadap gangguan-gangguan yang terjadi seperti : arus bocor, lingkungan, korosi, polusi, dan lain-lain Polusi yang terjadi pada permukaan isolator dapat menyebabkan tahanan isolasi dari isolator tersebut berkurang yang pada akhirnya mengakibatkan arus bocor atau percikan bunga api sehingga menyebabkan flash over Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat pencemaran yang terjadi pada permukaan isolator yang terpasang pada jaringan distribusi maka dilakukanlah pengujian dilapangan dengan mengumpulkan sampel dari beberapa tempat seperti pada kasus ini sampel di ambil dari daerah-daerah : bitung, sawangan, tomohon, teling, dan lahendong, setelah mendapatkan data dari lapangan dilakukan perhitungan serta pengolahan data terhadap sampel-sampel yang didapatkan dilapangan., mengenai klasifikasi tingkat pencemaran sesuai nilai ESDD (equivalent salt deposit density) dan NSDD (Nonsolube deposit density) untuk wilayah bitung, teling, tomohon, lahendong, sawangan, tingkat pencemaran yang terjadi masih dikategorikan ringan yaitu di bawah 0,0001mg/cm2 jauh dari ambang batas normal yang diberikan yaitu 0,1 mg/cm2 Kata kunci : ESDD dan NSDD, flashover, isolator, polutan
