Abstract

Abstract— The need and consumption of electric power from year to year continues to grow. This condition makes the power plant should continue to maintain the reliability to provide electricity when needed. In the power plant system there is also a DC system that has an important role. DC systems using batteries currently in maintenance still rely on dispatchers who have high human error rates. To help with this problem, a microcontroller based control and observation system is designed which will provide information in the form of current, voltage, temperature and indicator if one of the batteries is discharged.Keywords: Automatic Control, DC System, Direct Current, Microcontroller, Monitoring, Observation Control, Power Plant, System Battery, Temperature, Voltage. Abstrak— Kebutuhan maupun konsumsi daya listrik dari tahun ke tahun terus bertambah. Kondisi ini membuat pusat pembangkit tenaga listrik harus terus menjaga keandalan untuk menyediakan listrik saat dibutuhkan. Didalam sistem pembangkit listrik terdapat juga sistem DC yang mempunyai peran penting. Sistem DC menggunakan baterai saat ini dalam pemeliharaannya masih mengandalkan petugas operator yang punya tingkat kesalahan manusia yang tinggi. Untuk membantu permasalahan ini maka dirancanglah sistem kontrol dan pengamatan baterai berbasis microcontroller yang akan memberikan informasi berupa arus, tegangan, suhu dan indikator jika salah satu baterai terlepas.Kata kunci: Arus Searah, Kontrol Otomatis, Microcontroller, Monitoring,  Pembangkit Listrik, Pengamatan Baterai, Sistem DC, Sistem Kontrol, Suhu,  Tegangan.
