By using the right leadership style, leaders can influence job satisfaction, commitment, and employee productivity. This research aims to analyze the dean's leadership style based on path-goal theory. This study uses a quantitative approach, with descriptive research methods. The sample consists of 34 employees. The Path-Goal Leadership Questionnaire is used for the research instrument, which consists of 20 items. Reliability testing was carried out using Cronbach's Alpha statistical method, with the result of 0.876. The result showed that dean have directive and achievement-oriented leadership styles. In short, deans provide guidelines, that allow employees to know what is expected of them, set performance standards for them set challenging goals, and encourage employees to achieve their best performance. The results of this study are expected to be an insight for the institution. In addition, it can become knowledge, additional information, and even input for leaders, employees, and organizations, so that they are expected to move beyond comfortable responses and routines and envision new ways to work and lead.
