<![CDATA[ABSTRACAccording to the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, a taklim assembly is defined as a non-formal educational institution in the field of Islam intended for adults. This taklim assembly is useful for helping the elderly in improving their worship in this final period of life. For this reason, the role of the taklim assembly must be implemented as well as possible so that the elderly feel that this taklim assembly is very useful for them and for their lives. The method used is literature study, which means solving problems by looking for sources of writing that has been written before. Mjelis taklim has an important role in increasing the piety of the elderly where this assembly taklim acts as a forum for fostering and developing religious life in order to form elderly people who are devoted to Allah SWT and a medium for conveying ideas that are beneficial for the development of the Muslim community as well as a forum for friendship in bringing the Islamic Sharia to life. ]]>
