<![CDATA[Folktale is a story from an area that is told orally by the people and passed down from generation to generation by their ancestors. One of them is the legend of the Buret Lake in Sawo Village, Campurdarat District, Tulungagung Regency. Buret Lake was chosen as the object of research because apart from being famous as a natural tourism area it also has interesting folklore. For this reason, this research was conducted using a qualitative approach. This study aims to understand the architectural structure by using field observation techniques, documentation, interviews, and document studies. The data is in the form of excerpts from interviews with informants. Data analysis is done by analyzing, interpreting, compiling data, and making conclusions. The legend of Telaga Buret has four archetypes namely persona, shadow, hero and self.]]>
