The aim of this research was to identify mathematics learning difficulties experienced by class VIII students at UPT SMPN 4 Binamu, Binamu District, Jeneponto Regency. Knowing the causes of mathematics learning difficulties for class VIII students at UPT SMPN 4 Binamu, Binamu District, Jeneponto Regency is the aim of this research. An observational approach is used in this type of qualitative study. data was collected through documentation and interviews. The study findings show that the solutions and potential of the existing problem formulation have been explored.
