Literacy for early childhood is basically the ability to understand, process and communicate information received through reading and writing activities. Literacy skills begin when early childhood are able to recognize various pictorial symbols, writing, numbers and instructions, until they are able to string letters into words, sentences and communicate. The existing learning problem is that teachers lack understanding and creativity in choosing learning media to stimulate the ability to read, write and speak in early childhood. One way that can be used is by playing letter cards. Through the medium of letter cards, it is hoped that young children can provide added value to improve literacy skills in reading, writing and speaking and can influence young children's interest in learning. The research aims to improve literacy skills in reading, writing and speaking which was carried out in group B of SKS Kindergarten. Using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method carried out in cycles and collecting data on the results of measurement variables, the results up to cycle 2 show that the letter card game has improved the literacy skills of early childhood in reading, writing and speaking very well and achieved targets as expected.
