Social Science Learning (IPS) has an important role in the formation of the character of elementary / MI children. This article aims to explore how social studies learning can contribute to the character development of elementary / MI children. The research method used is a literature study collect information related to the theme. The results showed that social studies learning can help students understand moral, social, and cultural values that are important for the formation of their character. The The implication of this study is the importance of integrating social studies learning into the curriculum to support the character-building of elementary / MI children.
