The aim of this research is to determine the study of the relationship between Islamic religion and culture in the reality of life in the northern coastal communities of Subang Regency. The research uses a qualitative method approach based on field research, research data is collected through observation, interviews, documentation, analysis, reduction, presentation and data verification. The research results show that an attitude of openness in religion and culture has universal dimensions in building interaction, communication and acculturation in society, especially in facing social transformation. An open attitude can be understood as a perspective, attitude and behavior that does not close itself off to diversity and newness, always acts fairly, and is not exclusive in religion.
