Abstract

A brief review on turmeric from the stand-point of chemical content are presented. Recent studies on turmeric showed that at least 7 compounds of curcumin derivatives have been found, including cyclocurcumin the newer curcumin derivative.Keywords : curcumin, curcumin derivatives.
