<![CDATA[AbstrakDalam permainan bola voli terdapat beberapa keterampilan teknik, salah satunya adalah servis atas. Servis merupakan tanda untuk memulai permainan dan serangan pertama untuk memperoleh poin. Untuk dapat melakukan servis atas dengan baik harus memiliki kondisi fisik yang baik salah satunya kekuatan otot lengan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kekuatan otot lengan dengan kemampuan servis atas pada pemain bola voli. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode cross sectional korelasi. Penentuan sampel menggunakan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi didapatkan sampel sebanyak 15 orang. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi pearson product moment dengan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 (p<0,05) dan nilai pearson correlation yaitu 0,943 yang berarti terdapat korelasi sangat kuat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara kekuatan otot lengan dengan kemampuan servis atas bola voli.AbstractIn a volleyball there are several technical skills, one of which is the upper serve. Serve is the signal to start the game and the first attack to earn points. Must have good physical condition to serve well, one of which is arm muscle strength. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between arm muscle strength and upper serve ability in volleyball players using cross sectional correlation method. Determination of the sample using inclusion and exclusion criteria obtained a sample of 15 people. The results of this study were analyzed using the pearson product moment correlation test with the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 (p <0.05) and the pearson correlation value is 0.943 which means that there is a very strong correlation. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between arm muscle strength and upper serve ability in volleyball.]]>
