<![CDATA[AbstrakStunting merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang menjadi isu prioritas di Indonesia, termasuk di Desa Putat Lor, Kec. Menganti, Kab. Gresik. Berdasarkan data kesehatan dari Puskesmas Kepatihan, angka stunting di Kecamatan Menganti termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Dengan meninjau masalah prioritas pada Desa Putat Lor, mahasiswa peserta KKN-BBK mengadakan penyuluhan kesehatan serta lomba memasak makanan bergizi. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah sebagai langkah awal dalam memberi pemahaman pada ibu-ibu posyandu balita perihal penyakit stunting serta pencegahannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode sokratik yaitu dengan ceramah, demonstrasi, dan tanya jawab serta lomba memasak. Kegiatan ini bermitra dengan kepala desa, tenaga kesehatan puskesmas Kepatih dan kader posyandu Desa Putat Lor. Indikator keberhasilan dari program ini diukur dari tingkat pengetahuan ibu-ibu posyandu balita diukur menggunakan pretest dan post-test yang diuji dengan statistika N-gain dengan sampel sejumlah 24 orang. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ibu-ibu peserta posyandu balita memiliki peningkatan pengetahuan ke dalam kategori tinggi dengan hasil 80,975%. Dapat disimpulkan program penyuluhan dan lomba memasak telah efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman ibu-ibu peserta Posyandu Desa Putat Lor. According to the health data from Kepatihan Health Center, the stunting rate in Menganti District is considered high. By identifying priority problems in Putat Lor Village, BBK student participants held health education and a nutritious food cooking competition. The purpose of this service is as a first step in providing understanding to posyandu mothers about stunting and its prevention. The method used is the socratic method, such as lectures, demonstrations and discussion as well as cooking competitions. This activity is in partnership with the village head, health workers in Public Health Center of Kepatih, and posyandu cadres of Putat Lor Village. The success indicator of this program is measured by the level of knowledge of posyandu mothers using pretest and post-test which were tested with N-gain statistics involving 24 people as a sample. The results showed that the mothers of posyandu in Putat Lor Village had increased in knowledge into the high category with a result of 80.975% after fulfilling the post-test. It can be concluded that the outreach program and cooking competition have been effective in increasing the understanding of the mothers participating in the Putat Lor Village Posyandu.
