Abstract

Tujuan utama dari studi ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi dampak motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematika pada mahasiswa Program Studi Tadris Matematika Universitas Islam Negeri Fatmawati Sukarno di Bengkulu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini meliputi keseluruhan mahasiswa Tadris Matematika di universitas tersebut. Untuk memperoleh sampel, digunakan teknik pengambilan sampel acak berkelompok (cluster random sampling) yang menghasilkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 39. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui distribusi kuesioner motivasi belajar dan penilaian kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematika. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode regresi linier sederhana dan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 5%. Berdasarkan analisis hasil pengujian, ditemukan nilai R Square sebesar 0,648. Dari temuan ini disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa Tadris Matematika di UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika.AbstractThe primary objective of this study is to explore the impact of learning motivation on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students in the Tadris Mathematics Study Program at the Fatmawati Sukarno Islamic University of Bengkulu. The population of this study encompasses all the students of Tadris Mathematics at the university. The sample was obtained using the cluster random sampling technique, resulting in a total of 39 samples. Data in this research were gathered through the distribution of learning motivation questionnaires and assessments of mathematical problem-solving abilities. Data analysis was conducted using the simple linear regression method and a quantitative approach, with a significance level of 5%. Based on the analysis of the test results, an R Square value of 0.648 was found. It is concluded from these findings that there is a significant influence of learning motivation on the mathematical problem-solving capacity of Tadris Mathematics students at UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu to solve mathematical problems.
