Kajian Literatur Potensi Penerapan Teknologi Plasma pada Kain Pembalut Luka Guna Meningkatkan Penyerapan Minyak Atsiri Nilam (Pogostemon cablin Benth.)

Wound dressings are bandages used to protect wounds and help absorb fluids that come out of the wound. This literature review was conducted to determine the potential of applying plasma technology to wound dressings which would then be followed by the addition of patchouli essential oil (Pogostemon cablin Benth.) to produce wound dressings that have wound closure activity. This study aims to determine the potential for increasing the absorption of patchouli essential oil in wound dressings treated with plasma. This research was conducted using the Study Literature Review (SLR) method from several scientific articles on the application of plasma technology to fabric materials. The results of this study indicate that the application of plasma technology to various types of fabric materials shows the potential to increase the absorption of active ingredients from nature. So that the application of plasma technology has the potential to be applied to wound dressings to increase the absorption of patchouli essential oil (Pogostemon cablin Benth.). Pembalut luka adalah kain pembalut yang digunakan untuk melindungi luka dan membantu menyerap cairan yang keluar dari luka. Kajian literatur ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui potensi penerapan teknologi plasma pada kain pembalut luka yang kemudian akan dilanjutkan dengan penambahan minyak atsiri nilam (Pogostemon cablin Benth.) sehingga dihasilkan pembalut luka yang memiliki aktivitas penutupan luka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi peningkatan penyerapan minyak atsiri nilam pada kain pembalut luka yang diberi perlakuan plasma. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Study Literature Review (SLR) dari beberapa artikel ilmiah tentang penerapan teknologi plasma pada material kain. Hasil dari kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi plasma pada berbagai jenis material kain menunjukkan adanya potensi peningkatan penyerapan bahan aktif dari alam. Sehingga penerapan teknologi plasma berpotensi untuk diterapkan pada kain pembalut luka guna meningkatkan penyerapan minyak atsiri nilam (Pogostemon cablin Benth.).
