<![CDATA[This study aims at describing single transformation of sentences pattern in the Indonesian language writing of Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIP A) University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) students. The data of this research are in the form of sentences of BIPA UMM students. The results show, single transformation of sentences pattern in the Indonesian language writing of BIPA UMM students divided to addition and subtraction pattern. In the addition pattern, there are four patterns listed: negation word, aspect word, continuation word, and hope word.
