<![CDATA[The development of the arts in developing the artistic talents of the people of Medan city, is increasingly evident with the number of events with the arts as the main thing in the implementation of the event. From the results of data calculations carried out, the number of people who want to develop talents in the arts does not match the number of art schools in Medan. There are only 57 art associations and 1 art college in Medan State University. What helps is the Tamab Budaya which at the moment is in a condition that is not suitable for use anymore. By looking at the existing functions, and comparative studies conducted, a high school is needed with an adaptation approach to the environment according to the needs of students. The purpose of the research is that there is an art high school building, by applying environmental adaptation. The research method carried out is by processing data on survey results, conducting comparative studies and collecting data through observation, interviews, and analyzing documentation. This research is expected to provide concrete insights to improve the adaptation of art school buildings to the environment and support the development of arts and culture in Medan City optimally.]]>
