<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam proses penerbitan E-KTP di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Banyuasin, dengan menilai kesesuaiannya terhadap tujuan strategis dinas tersebut. Metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan pendekatan studi kasus digunakan, dengan pengumpulan data melalui tinjauan literatur, observasi, wawancara, dan analisis. Fokus penelitian pada Bagian Pemanfaatan Data dan Dokumen serta Bagian Teknologi dan Komunikasi Tata Kelola & Sumber Daya Manusia bertujuan untuk memperkuat tata kelola TI. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa sistem E-KTP, yang diimplementasikan menggunakan kerangka kerja COBIT 5, berhasil mengelola proses TI dengan efektif, dengan sebagian besar proses mencapai tingkat kemahiran yang diharapkan. Namun, pengelolaan keberlanjutan di bawah DSS04 masih berada pada level 2, menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan di area ini dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas layanan. This study aims to evaluates the effectiveness of information technology in the E-KTP (Electronic Resident Identity Card) issuance process at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Banyuasin Regency, assessing its alignment with the office's strategic goals. Utilizing a quantitative descriptive method with a case study approach, data were gathered through literature reviews, observations, interviews, and analyses. The study focuses on the Data and Document Utilization and Technology and Communications Governance & Human Resources sections to bolster IT governance. Findings indicate that the E-KTP system, implemented under the COBIT 5 framework, effectively manages IT processes, with most reaching expected proficiency levels. However, sustainability management under DSS04 remains at level 2, suggesting that improvements in this area could significantly enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.]]>
