<![CDATA[ Kisah pencobaan yang dialami oleh Yesus Kristus di Padang Gurun, seperti yang tercatat dalam Injil Matius 4:1-11, telah menjadi bahan pemikiran yang dalam ajaran Kristen. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memahami kisah ini dari perspektif Pentakostal, membingkai teodisi dari kisah pencobaan tersebut dan bagaimana peristiwa ini relevan dalam kehidupan dan iman Pentakostal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis teks dan kajian literatur. Pembahasan artikel ini mencakup pemahaman konsep pencobaan sebagai penderitaan dan Allah dalam pribadi Roh Kudus menyertai proses pencobaan itu. Teodisi dari perspektif Pentakostal merangkainya dengan konsep teodisi pencobaan sebagai ujian kehidupan, penyertaan Roh Kudus dalam pencobaan, dan peran Allah dalam mengizinkan pencobaan.Kata Kunci: pencobaan, Allah, teodisi, matius 4:1-11, pentakostal.AbstractThe story of the temptation experienced by Jesus Christ in the Wilderness, as recorded in the Gospel of Matthew 4:1-11, has been a subject of deep contemplation in Christian teachings. This article aims to understand this story from a Pentecostal perspective, framing the theodicy of the temptation narrative and how this event is relevant in the life and faith of Pentecostals. The research method employed includes textual analysis and literature review. The article discusses the understanding of the concept of temptation as a trial in life and God's presence through the Holy Spirit accompanying the process of temptation. The theodicy from the Pentecostal perspective interlaces it with the concept of theodicy of temptation as a test of life, the involvement of the Holy Spirit in temptation, and the role of God in permitting temptation.Keywords: temptation, God, theodicy, matthew 4:1-11, pentecostal.]]>
