<![CDATA[The inductive thinking learning model is a learning model based on processing information, with this model students are required to actively learn independently, discover concepts and ideas, and develop critical thinking skills which ultimately influence problem solving. This research aims to determine the effect of the inductive thinking learning model on the mathematical problem solving abilities of PAB Medan Estate Private Vocational School students. This research was carried out in March – May 2024. The research population for all 10th graders was 40 people. The sample was taken by purpose sampling as many as 40 people. This research is quantitative research, the method used in this research is pre-experimental design in the form of one group pretest and posttest. Before being given treatment, a diagnostic test is first carried out to determine the student's metacognitive ability to see how much their metacognition fails in solving statistical problems. Further grouped into high, medium and low metacognitive failure. After being given treatment, namely the inductive thinking learning model assisted by GeoGebra, a posttest was given with the same questions as the pretest in the form of questions describing statistical material. The research results show a significant influence of the GeoGebra-assisted inductive thinking learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities.]]>
