<![CDATA[Transportation or freight is a very important area for people's lives. Transportation aims to be a means of moving people that is useful for moving from one place to another, especially for people who do not have private vehicles. The need for transportation facilities and infrastructure is very necessary. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of public transport arrangements on fixed and regular routes in Banyumas Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a survey method through field observations. The effectiveness of the program in this research uses indicators; 1) comfort; 2) capacity; 3) punctuality; 3) price; and 5) overlapping routes. The results of research on public transport services on fixed and regular routes in Banyumas Regency are quite effective based on indicators of comfort, capacity, punctuality and price. The prices or tariffs set do not harm operators and also do not burden people who use rural or urban public transport services. Meanwhile, based on the route overlap indicator, there is overlap in transport routes in urban areas traversed by the Trans Banyumas bus route. ]]>
