<![CDATA[As a consequence of the Unitary State of the Republicof Indonesia which upholds the democratic process, GeneralElections (Pemilu) are needed to elect people's representativesboth in the legislative body and elect the president as head of theexecutive body. Apart from the aim of electing people'srepresentatives in institutions in the legislative and executiveinstitutions, it is hoped that this election will be carried outhonestly and fairly as mandated by Law Number 7 of 2017concerning Elections. In the implementation of elections whichare held periodically, electoral criminal acts often occur whichactually hinder the democratic process itself. This is partly dueto the public's lack of understanding of the criminal acts involvedin the implementation of elections. The Community Service Teamat the Faculty of Law, Bhayangkara University, Jakarta Rayatook the initiative to provide legal education to the community inMekarsari Village, Tambun District, Bekasi Regency, West Java.Based on the phenomenon mentioned above, this activity aims toenable the public to understand election criminal acts, as well asunderstand the criminal law implications of election criminalbehavior. The method of implementing this activity is carried outin several stages, starting from the preparation stage,implementation stage, activity evaluation, to reporting results.The results of the activity show that the public's knowledge ofelection crimes has increased. The output resulting from thisactivity is a pocket book as an additional reference regardingelection crimes. In addition, the results of activities aredocumented in the form of implementation reports and publishedin scientific journals so that they can provide the widest possiblebenefits at an academic and practical level.]]>
