<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Tujuan pelatihan pembuatan lilin aromaterapi di desa Karangrejo kecamatan Ngasem kabupaten Kediri untuk meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga oleh ibu –ibu PKK dengan menggunakan minyak jelantah sebagai bahan dasar. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian menggunakan asset based community development (ABCD) dimana tim pengabdian bersama ibu-ibu PKK menggali potensi yang dimiliki untuk dimanfaatkan menjadi barang produktif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, ibu-ibu PKK dapat memiliki pengetahuan pengelolaan limbah minyak goreng serta memiliki ketrampilan membuat lilin aromaterapi yang dapat dipasarkan secara luas sehingga memperoleh pendapatan untuk menunjang perekonomian keluarga. Kata Kunci : limbah minyak goreng, metode ABCD, ekonomi keluarga. ABSTRACT The purpose of the training of making aromatherapy candles in the village of Karangrejo, Ngasem district of Kediri, is to improve the family economy by the PKK mothers by using oil as a base ingredient. The method of dedication implementation uses asset based community development (ABCD) where the dedication team with the PKK mothers digs the potential they have to be exploited into productive goods. As a result of this activity, PKK mothers can have knowledge of the management of fried oil waste as well as have the skills to make aromatherapy candles that can be marketed widely so as to earn income to support the family economy.
