Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media audiovisual terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa di UPT SPF SD Inpres Maccini Sombala 1 Kota Makassar, menggunakan desain Quasi Experimental Pretest-Posttest. Penelitian membandingkan dua kelompok: kelas IV-A sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang menerapkan model inkuiri terbimbing dengan media audiovisual dan kelas IV-B sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan metode konvensional. Hasil menunjukkan penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media audiovisual secara signifikan meningkatkan keterlibatan dan hasil belajar siswa, terbukti melalui perbedaan signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest. Temuan ini mendukung penelitian sebelumnya yang menunjukkan bahwa model inkuiri terbimbing efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan hasil belajar siswa. Analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial memperkuat kesimpulan bahwa model ini memberikan dampak positif dalam pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of the guided inquiry learning model assisted by audiovisual media on student science learning outcomes at UPT SPF SD Inpres Maccini Sombala 1 Makassar City, using a Quasi Experimental Pretest-Posttest design. The study compared two groups: class IV-A as an experimental group that applied the guided inquiry model with audiovisual media and class IV-B as a control group with conventional methods. The results showed that the application of the guided inquiry learning model assisted by audiovisual media significantly improved student engagement and learning outcomes, as evidenced by the significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. This finding supports previous research showing that the guided inquiry model is effective in improving students' understanding and learning outcomes. Descriptive and inferential statistical analysis reinforces the conclusion that this model has a positive impact on science learning in primary schools.
