Abstract

Abstract. Initial observations (before action) were carried out on children in the B2 group of Ashofiah Islamic Kindergarten Cibaduyut Bandung that the children's independence was still low. This is proven in the ability to help others in learning and playing activities, and being able to share toys/food with friends of their own accord. The aim of this research is to determine the application of Montessori life skills activities that are integrated with Islamic values ​​to increase children's independence. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). These methods include: planning, implementation (action), observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques through observation, performance and documentation. The research results show that children's independence before implementing Montessori life skills activities which are integrated with Islamic values ​​obtained an average score of 69.24% with the criteria for the score still being low and not appropriate. Meanwhile, after implementing Montessori life skills activities which integrated Islamic values, the average score was 80.26% with good and appropriate score criteria. Thus, implementing Montessori life skills activities that are integrated with Islamic values ​​can increase children's independence. Abstrak. Observasi awal (sebelum tindakan) dilakukan pada anak kelompok B2 TK Islam Ashofiah Cibaduyut Bandung bahwa kemandirian anak masih rendah. Hal ini terbukti dalam kemampuan membantu sesama dalam kegiatan belajar dan bermain, dan dapat berbagi mainan/makanan dengan teman atas keinginan sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan kegiatan life skill montessori yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai islami untuk meningkatkan kemandirian anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Metode tersebut meliputi: perencanaan, pelaksanaan (tindakan), observasi/pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, unjuk kerja dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian bahwa kemandirian anak sebelum diterapkan kegiatan life skill montessori yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai islami memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 69,24% dengan kriteria nilai masih rendah dan belum sesuai. Sedangkan setelah diterapkan kegiatan life skill montessori yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai islami memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 80,26% dengan kriteria nilai baik dan sudah sesuai. Dengan demikian, penerapan kegiatan life skill montessori yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai islami dapat meningkatkan kemandirian anak.
