Improvements in education are considered a good means of contraception by encouraging women to continue attending school and delay marriage, and for those who are married, education helps women to make a rational choice to use birth control. The purpose of this research is to see how education influences women's decisions to marry and the influence of education on women's decisions to use contraception. The type of data used is quantitative data with secondary data sources obtained from the 2017 IDHS results. The analysis technique used in this research is the multinominal logit regression technique with the information Y=1 unmarried women, Y=2 married women without contraception and Y= 3 married women with contraception. The results of this research are (1) education has a negative and significant effect on women's decision to marry without contraception (2) education has a negative effect on women's decision to marry and use contraception. Several control variables such as age, area of residence, area of residence, working status, number of children and peer influence were included in this study.
