Abstract

Hasil observasi di UPT SMA Negeri 4 Parepare, dijumpai permasalahan motivasi belajar biologi peserta didik masih kurang maksimal. Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat berkaitan dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Videoscribe adalah media audiovisual yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar biologi peserta didik dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran videoscribe pokok bahasan Bakteri. Penelitian menggunakan pre-experiment dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah lembar angket motivasi belajar biologi. Analisis data penelitian adalah secara deskriptif kuantitatif, yaitu skor motivasi yang telah diperoleh dikategorikan menjadi sangat tinggi, tinggi, cukup, rendah, dan sangat rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan motivasi belajar biologi peserta didik dengan menggunakan media videoscribe pokok bahasan Bakteri Kelas X MIPA UPT SMA Negeri 4 Parepare. Peningkatan yang terjadi berupa peningkatan persentase peserta didik pada kategori sangat tinggi, tinggi dan cukup dan penurunan persentase pada kategori rendah dan rendah sekali berdasarkan indikator penelitian, yaitu: 1) hasrat dan keinginan berhasil, 2) dorongan dan kebutuhan dalam belajar, 3) harapan dan cita-cita masa depan, 4) penghargaan dalam belajar, 5) kegiatan yang menarik dalam belajar, dan 6) lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. The results of observations at the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of State High School (SMA Negeri) 4 Parepare, it was found that students' motivation to learn biology was still not optimal. The use of appropriate learning media is related to students' learning motivation. Videoscribe is an audiovisual media that can be used in learning. This research aimed to determine students' motivation to learn biology by using videoscribe learning media on the subject of Bacteria. The research used a pre-experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. The instrument of this research was a motivation questionnaire sheet for studying biology. Analysis of research data was descriptive quantitative, namely the motivation scores that have been obtained were categorized into very high, high, enough, low and very low. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in students' motivation to learn biology by using videoscribe media on the subject of Bacteria in Class X MIPA UPT SMA Negeri 4 Parepare. The increase that occurred was in the form of an increase in the percentage of students in the very high and high categories and a decrease in the percentage in the low and very low categories based on research indicators, namely: 1) passion and desire to succeed, 2) encouragement and need for learning, 3) hopes and aspirations future goals, 4) appreciation for learning, 5) interesting activities in learning, and 6) conducive learning environment.
