Lending money is a common practice in human life, but Islam has guidelines that Muslims must follow. Islam forbids the practice of riba in lending money. The verses of the Qur'an and the hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasize the importance of justice, honesty, and mutual respect in money loan transactions. In the Islamic perspective, money loans must be made voluntarily, without charging excessive interest, and must follow the terms and conditions that have been set. Through this article, it is hoped that readers can understand Islamic principles, related to lending money, and apply practices that are in accordance with religious teachings.
