AbstrakKebijakan smart environment merupakan bagian integral dan penting dalam Pilar dan Model Pembangunan Smart City. Smart environment mentransformasikan revolusi teknologi (4IR) sehingga merefleksikan nilai-nilai etis dan moral Society 5.0 berupa kemanfaatan lingkungan hidup bersama. Standar pencapaian smart environment diukur dari ketersediaan layanan publik, antara lain terkait : energy, water/air/land management, waste management, dan region management, melalui remote sensing, data oceanografik, dan early warning alert system berbasis high performance computer. Berbagai daerah (kabupaten/kota) telah memiliki regulasi smart city yang secara langsung/tidak mengatur smart environment. Optimalisasi implementasi kebijakan smart environment membutuhkan komitmen yang mengintegrasikan regulasi dan kelembagaan daerah dan nasional sehingga terkoneksi dengan standar sistem manajemen lingkungan (SSML) secara global.Kata kunci: integrasi; smart environment; smart city; standar; manajemen lingkungan global AbstractSmart environment policy is an integral and important part of the Smart City Development Pillar and Model.
