Abuse of authority in the context of sexual abuse by someone against a student is an act that is abusive and disruptive. Sexual abuse committed by someone against a student must touch on legal interests and the interests of the student which have a major impact on psychological and emotional aspects. Students who are victims may experience trauma, lose trust in authority, and feel protected and emotionally distressed. This can disrupt their development academically and socially, and have serious long-term impacts on their future self-confidence and interpersonal relationships. Abuse of authority in cases of sexual abuse by parties who should be authority figures must continue to be emphasized. The education system needs to support training in ethical values, respect and equality, as well as strengthen protection for students in order to prevent the recurrence of similar cases in the future.
