<![CDATA[Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan prinsip Good corporate governance (GCG) dalam pengelolaan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) Durensewu, khususnya pada wisata Telaga Sewu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan GCG di BUMDes Durensewu telah memberikan dampak positif signifikan terhadap kinerja dan transparansi organisasi. Masyarakat merasakan peningkatan kepercayaan yang berasal dari praktik transparansi dan akuntabilitas yang lebih baik. Namun, terdapat tantangan yang perlu diatasi, seperti responsivitas terhadap umpan balik masyarakat dan independensi dalam pengambilan keputusan. Perbandingan dengan BUMDes lainnya mengindikasikan bahwa Durensewu perlu mengadopsi praktik-praktik terbaik untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan. Rekomendasi strategis meliputi penguatan struktur organisasi dengan pembentukan komite independen, peningkatan kapasitas manajerial melalui pelatihan, dan pengembangan mekanisme responsif untuk umpan balik masyarakat. Selain itu, diversifikasi sumber pendanaan dan strategi pemasaran yang lebih inovatif dianjurkan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan dari wisata Telaga Sewu. Penelitian ini juga menyarankan agar penelitian selanjutnya dilakukan untuk analisis perbandingan yang lebih mendalam antara BUMDes di berbagai daerah serta studi longitudinal untuk mengevaluasi dampak jangka panjang dari penerapan GCG. Keseluruhan, penerapan GCG yang efektif diharapkan dapat memperkuat kinerja BUMDes Durensewu dan berkontribusi pada kesejahteraan masyarakat desa. Kata Kunci – Good corporate governance, BUMDES. This study explores the application of Good corporate governance (GCG) principles in the management of the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) Durensewu, particularly focusing on the Telaga Sewu tourist attraction. The findings indicate that the implementation of GCG at BUMDes Durensewu has had a significant positive impact on organizational performance and transparency. The community has experienced increased trust due to improved transparency and accountability practices. However, challenges such as responsiveness to community feedback and decision-making independence need to be addressed. Comparisons with other BUMDes suggest that Durensewu should adopt best practices to enhance management effectiveness. Strategic recommendations include strengthening organizational structure with the establishment of an independent committee, enhancing managerial capacity through training, and developing responsive mechanisms for community feedback. Additionally, diversifying funding sources and adopting more innovative marketing strategies are advised to boost revenue from the Telaga Sewu tourist attraction. The study also recommends conducting further research for a more in-depth comparative analysis of BUMDes across different regions and longitudinal studies to evaluate the long-term impact of GCG implementation. Overall, effective application of GCG is expected to strengthen the performance of BUMDes Durensewu and contribute to the welfare of the village community.
