<![CDATA[Abstrak: Pembelajaran sastra seringkali kurang menarik minat siswa. Maka dari itu, guru hendaknya dapat memilih metode dan materi ajar sastra yang tepat untuk meningkatkan ketertarikan siswa pada sastra. Namun faktanya, sebagain besar guru masih kesulitan memilih materi ajar sastra yang tepat. Selain itu, materi yang digunakan sebagian besar juga belum menyajikan nilai pendidikan karakter yang baik, terutama berkaitan dengan nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila yang wajib dibudayakan dalam diri siswa sejalan dengan pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan (1) nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam novel Hello karya Tere Liye; dan (2) relevansi novel Hello sebagai materi ajar sastra di SMA. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah novel Hello karya Tere Liye dan informan. Data penelitian berupa dialog dan kutipan novel yang mengandung nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila serta hasil wawancara dengan informan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan analisis dokumen dan wawancara. Adapun, teknik validiasi datanya menggunakan triangulasi teori dan sumber data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel Hello mengandung enam nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila yaitu (1) beriman, bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, dan berakhlak mulia; (2) berkebhinekaan global; (3) gotong royong; (4) mandiri; (5) bernalar kritis; dan (6) kreatif. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa novel Hello karya Tere Liye relevan digunakan sebagai materi ajar sastra di SMA. Hal ini karena novel tersebut telah memenuhi kriteria pemilihan materi ajar sastra yang baik dan ideal.Abstract: Literature learning often does not attract students' interest. Therefore, teachers should be able to choose appropriate literary teaching methods and materials to increase students' interest in literature. However, in fact, the majority of teachers still have difficulty choosing the right literary teaching materials. Apart from that, most of the materials used do not provide good character education values, especially in relation to the Pancasila Student Profile values which must be cultivated in students in line with the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. In this regard, this research aims to describe and explain (1) the value of the Pancasila Student Profile in the novel Hello by Tere Liye; and (2) the relevance of the novel Hello as literature lesson material in high school. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The data source used is the novel Hello by Tere Liye and informants. The research data is in the form of dialogue and novel quotations containing the values of the Pancasila Student Profile as well as the results of interviews with informants. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques use document analysis and interviews. The data validation technique uses triangulation of theory and data sources. The research results show that the novel Hello contains six values of the Pancasila Student Profile, namely (1) having faith, being devoted to God Almighty, and having noble character; (2) global diversity; (3) mutual cooperation; (4) independent; (5) critical reasoning; and (6) creative. The research results also show that the novel Hello by Tere Liye is relevant to use as literature lesson material in high school. This is because the novel meets the criteria for selecting good and ideal literary teaching materials.]]>
