The Holy Communion is one of two sacraments recognized by the Evangelical Christian Church in Timor. In order for congregations to take part in the Holy Communion feast, GMIT sets conditions or criteria, one of which is that congregations whose status is temporarily subject to church discipline cannot participate in Holy Communion. This provision is not excessive because GMIT is a Calvinist church which in principle enforces discipline. This article is intended to take a closer look at how church discipline is implemented before the Holy Communion is held. To be able to complete this manuscript, the author used a library study approach in which the topic discussed by the author was discussed. In the end, through this article, readers, especially the GMIT congregation, can be educated in understanding what Holy Communion is, the importance of church discipline as a moment to evaluate oneself before participating in Holy Communion.
