<![CDATA[This article aims to find out what citizenship traits grow and develop in students by participating in this extracurricular activity. And also how students can maintain the good character they already have and what extracurricular activities are available at MAN KOTA PALANGKA RAYA. Of course, this extracurricular activity is a place for students to develop their character and students are expected to form characters that are creative, think critically, work together, be independent and have faith in God Almighty. This data collection technique uses observation and documentation techniques. The research data were analyzed descriptive qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that (1) Many citizenship characters are formed such as having good manners, respecting the rights of others, obeying rules, open and critical thinking and tolerance. (2) Extracurricular activities can also prevent students from carrying out deviant behavior (3) At the MAN KOTA PALANGKA RAYA school there are lots of extracurricular activities, including: Scouts, PMR, Sports, Arts, Journalism/Podcast, Paskibra, Sispala, Drumband and Alloys Voice]]>
