Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of textbook based Reading, Questioning and Answering (RQA) in process assessment and learning outcomes course at chemistry department Unesa. The research method uses research and development (R & D).The results showed that the textbook based RQA was feasible in term of construct validity with very valid category, content validity with very valid category, language and readability with valid category, and in accordance with the RQA strategy with a valid category.From this research, it can be concluded that the texbook suitable for use in process assessment and learning outcomes course.

Abstract

This study was aimed to know the inhibiting factor of student communication skill in colloid material with application of Numbered Head Together model. The method of this research is descriptive quantitative and target are student of class XI IPA 2 SMAN Wonoayu Sidoarjo and XI IPA 5 SMA Al-Islam Krian with amount of 39 and 45 students. Result of this researchwas found that 41.03% of students of IPA 2 SMAN Wonoayu and 42.2% of students of XI IPA 5 SMA AL Islam Krian included communication delay. The results of data analysis showed that in XI IPA 2 SMAN Wonoayu Sidoarjo as much as 75% of student experience communication delays on ecological and psychological factors; 43.7% by the messaging and semantic factors. While in XI IPA 5 SMA Al Islam Krian 73.7% by psychological factors; 68% by ecological factors; 47.4% by messenger factors, and 42.1% by receiver and semantic factors.

Abstract

Learning materials have been developed which then conducted the study and validation to the expert lecturers and then tested to the students to find out the validity of the feasibility of learning materials in the field of Industrial Chemistry as one of the supporting subjects of Ecopreneurship in Chemistry Department. From the data obtained can be concluded that learning materials in the form of Lesson Plan, Worksheet, and Instrument Rating get very good criteria. These criteria are obtained based on theoretical feasibility and empirical feasibility. Based on these results, learning tools developed can be used as learning tools for Industrial Chemistry courses to support ecopreneurship.

Abstract

Not forever what written in theory accepted student correctly. Observing is important to check simulation implementing of inductive model by student of Chemistry Education Program of Chemical Department of FMIPA Unesa after they were studying inductive model theory. Observing was conducted since even semester 2012 / 2013 untill even semester 2015 / 2016. Result of observing show there are some mistake which often happened in simulation implementing of inductive model. First mistake is deem that in open-ended phase teacher is obliged to attend the non example of concept, though the non example of? concept is not obliged to be attended teacher. Second mistake is teacher teach two concept at the same time in a series of inductive model sintak, though ought to a series of inductive model sintak to teach one concept. Third mistake is example of concept and non example of concept in open-ended is always made more simple than convergent phase so that student respon too varying and it is very difficulty by teacher in convergent phase. Fourth mistake is concept which will reach is not well defined so directingstudent to reach concept is difficulty. Fifth mistake is practice problem in application phase less regarding how is student get concept or not representation of conception which have been reached.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the public perception of education skills of bamboo creative handycraft industry in improving the socio-economic life for the people in this district. This study is categorised as descriptive. This study aims to obtain a description and picture of the relationship between education skills and the creative industries bamboo craft skills with improved social life ekonomi. The data are collected by: observation, interviews, literature and documentation. Then, the data are analyzed by Chi-Square method. The results of this study concluded that: 1) The results show respondents who provide feedback and assessment of the implementation of the education skills of bamboo creative industriesin Sigi District are 11 respondents. There were 27.5% answered strongly agreed, 39 respondents or 97.0% answered agree, no one respondents answered disagree and no one respondents answered strongly disagree. It shows that the program implementation is supported and required because the publicunderstand that the program aims to progress rural welfare, 2) Educational skills programs of bamboo creative handicraft industry have significant impact for rural communities in Sigi District, as evidenced by analytical testing Chi-Square, where the result is: for social impacts scored 0.33, which proves that the level of relation between the social impact and education skills of the bamboo creative handicraft industry skills in Sigi District is only 33%. Mean while, the economic impact values obtained contingency coefficient is 0.28 which proves that the level of relation between the economic impact and the implementation of education skills of bamboo creative handicraft industryin Sigi District is only 28%.

Abstract

This study aimed at investigating thinking order of reading comprehension questions in English textbook for young foresters of Forestry Vocational school of Samarinda. It also used content analysis method in which the researcher collected, analyzed and classified reading questions based on Bloom Taxonomy cognitive level as well as high and low order thinking. The findings showed that the reading comprehension questions covered all Bloom’s Taxonomy cognitive levels. They were knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. The most frequently appeared were knowledge and comprehension level. However, most of the questions were dominated low order thinking and had small number in high order thinking. Besides that, it suggested recommendations and pedagogical implications to develop students thinking skills ability in English classroom.Keywords: English textbook, Reading comprehension question, Thinking skill, Bloom’s taxonomy.

Abstract

Tujuan Perancangan Pembelajaran Kimia Anorganik berbasis Web Lite Course adalah untuk meningkatkan efektifitas perkuliahan Kimia Anorganik 2 yang memenuhi syarat kelayakan. Kelayakan ditinjau dari media, penyajian materi dan bahasa. Alur pengembangan mengikuti Four-D model yang meliputi define, design, develop dan disseminate. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penyusunan Web Lite Course Form yang menerapkan kombinasi aktivitas di kelas, dan penggunaan internet.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini menfokuskan perhatian pada tiga permasalahan utama yaitu (1) Apa latar belakang  terbentuknya pendidikan formal di Kelurahan Lakonea Kecamatan Kulisusu Kabupaten Buton Utara? (2) Bagaimana perkembangan pendidikan formal di Kelurahan Lakonea Kecamatan Kulisusu Kabupaten Buton Utara? (3) Faktor-faktor apa yang mendukung dan menghambat pendidikan formal di Kelurahan Lakonea Kecamatan Kulisusu Kabupaten Buton Utara serta apa manfaat adanya pendidikan formal bagi masyarakat Lakonea?Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sejarah sesuai dengan yang ditulis oleh Kuntowijoyo. Adapun tata kerja dalam metode sejarah tersebut adalah: (a) Pemilihan Topik (b) Heuristik yaitu pengumpulan data (c) Verifikasi atau kritik sejarah yaitu penilaian terhadap keabsahan data (d) Interpretasi atau penafsiran yaitu data yang sudah dikritik selanjutnya ditafsirkan untuk memberikan penjelasan sesuai dengan masalah yang diteliti (e) Historiografi yaitu penulisan dan penyusunan sejarah.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Latar belakang pendidikan formal di Kelurahan Lakonea Kecamatan Kulisusu Kabupaten Buton Utara yakni munculnya Kesadaran masyarakat setempat yang bekerja sama dengan pemerintah setempat dan pemerintah pusat untuk mengenyam pendidikan formal di Kelurahan Lakonea (2) Perkembangan pendidikan formal di Kelurahan Lakonea Kecamatan Kulisusu Kabupaten Buton Utara sudah mengalami kemajuan. Hal ini dapat diketahui berdasarkan perkembangan pendidikan SDN I Lakonea (1983), SDN I Banu-Banua (1997), SMP Satap Banu-Banua Jaya (2011), dan TK Harapan Bunda (2012). (3) Faktor pendukung perkembangan pendidikan formal di Kelurahan Lakonea Kecamatan Kulisusu Kabupaten Buton Utara adalah adanya pengetahuan dan kesadaran kepala keluarga, Adanya bimbingan, pengajaran, dan pendidikan orang tua yang baik kepada anaknya, Adanya pengelolaan pembelajaran yang baik oleh guru kepada peserta didik. Sedangkan faktor penghambat perkembangan pendidikan formal di Kelurahan Lakonea jauhnya jarak tempuh antara rumah peserta didik dengan lingkungan pendidikan, kurangnya transportasi, rusaknya jalanan umum, akses pada sekolah menengah atas yaitu SMA/SMK masih terbatas, semuanya merupakan faktor penghambat atas belum berkembangnya tingkat pendidikan masyarakat di tempat ini.                                                                      Kata Kunci: Sejarah, Faktor pendukung, Pendidikan Formal

Abstract

Kurangnya media pembelajaran berupa lembar kerja peserta didik elektronik yang menarik dan mudah di akses oleh siswa pada sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh (daring) di masa pandemi ini mengakibatkan rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mengembangkan e-LKPD berorientasi Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D yang terdiri dari tahap define (pendefinisian), tahap design (perancangan), tahap develop (pengembangan) dan tahap disseminate (penyebaran). Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini ialah kelayakan e-LKPD dengan persentase hasil validasi kriteria kesesuaian dengan pendekatan CTL 78,89%, isi 81,39%, penyajian 83,33%, dan bahasa 81,25% dengan kategori sangat layak, kepraktisan e-LKPD dengan persentase hasil respon siswa berdasarkan kriteria isi 88,09%, penyajian 84,44%, bahasa 86,66% dengan kategori sangat layak, dan keefektifan e-LKPD dengan n-gain score pada hasil tes keterampilan berpikir kritis berkisar antara 0,44-1,00 dengan kriteria sedang-tinggi serta ketuntasan klasikal 66,67%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-LKPD berorientasi Contextual Teaching and Learning yang digunakan pada materi termokimia ini dinyatakan layak.
