Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui Kompentensi dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, serta untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui Kompentensi dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap kompensasi pada PPSDM Regional Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan peneltian kuantitatif dengan mengambil sampel pegawai negeri sipil yang berjumlah 60 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner, dan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa Kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai, Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai, Kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kompensasi Pegawai, Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kompensasi Pegawai, Kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai, Kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Melalui Kompensasi Pegawai, Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Melalui Kompensasi. Secara umum pengaruh Kompentensi dan Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, Kompentensi dan Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompensasi. Pada uji mediasi bahwa kompensasi dapat memediasi pengaruh Kompentensi dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. besarnya pengaruh bersama kompetensi, motivasi kerja terhadap kompensasi sebesar 57% (pengaruh sedang mendekati tinggi). Besarnya pengaruh bersama kompetensi, motivasi kerja dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja pegawai sebesar 74,6% (pengaruh tinggi). The purpose of this study was to analyze and determine the Competence and Work Motivation on employee performance, as well as to analyze and determine the Competence and Work Motivation on compensation at PPSDM Regional Makassar. This research is a quantitative research using a sample of 60 civil servant’s person. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire, and the data analysis technique uses Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The research results show that Competency has a significant effect on Employee Performance, Work Motivation has a significant effect on Employee Performance, Competency has a significant effect on Employee Compensation, Work Motivation has a significant effect on Employee Compensation, Compensation has a significant effect on Employee Performance, Competency has a significant effect on Performance through Employee Compensation, Work Motivation has a significant effect on Performance through Compensation. In general, the influence of Competency and Work Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and compensation. In the mediation test, compensation can mediate the influence of Competency and Work Motivation on employee performance. The magnitude of the joint influence of competence, work motivation on compensation is 57% (medium influence approaching high). The magnitude of the joint influence of competence, work motivation and compensation on employee performance is 74.6% (high influence).
