Abstract

A firm’s sustainability and growth are the results of its human resources’ performance, thereby increasing their performance plays a vital role in improving a firm’s profitability. Hence, this research aims to investigate the impact of emotional intelligence and gratitude on employee performance, as well as the mediating role of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). This research selected the sample by using the snowball sampling method and collected data from 100 respondents. The data was collected by using an online questionnaire and was analyzed by utilizing the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. This research concluded that emotional intelligence and gratitude have a positive and significant impact on employee performance and OCB. However, OCB doesn’t have any significant impact on employee performance and it doesn’t mediate the impact of emotional intelligence and gratitude on employee performance. Keberlangsungan dan pertumbuhan perusahaan merupakan hasil dari kinerja sumber daya manusianya, sehingga meningkatkan kinerja tersebut berperan penting dalam mengembangkan profitabilitas perusahaan. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan rasa bersyukur terhadap kinerja karyawan, serta peran mediasi organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Penelitian ini memilih sampel dengan metode snowball sampling dan data diperoleh dari 100 responden. Data tersebut diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner secara online dan dianalisis dengan metode Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional dan rasa bersyukur berdampak positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan OCB. Namun, OCB tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan OCB tidak dapat memediasi pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan rasa bersyukur terhadap kinerja karyawan.
