Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of taxpayer awareness, knowledge and understanding of tax laws, perceptions of the effectiveness of the tax system   and   the   willingness   to   pay   taxes   on   taxpayer   reporting   compliance Tarumanagara University lecturer in Jakarta. Data analysis of 104 respondents conducted with the help of PASW Statistics program version 18.00. The results showed that knowledge and understanding of tax laws and the willingness to pay taxes have a significant effect on taxpayer compliance reporting while the taxpayer awareness and perceptions of the effectiveness of the tax system does not have a significant impact on taxpayer compliance reporting.

Abstract

The main idea of this paper is to investigate three dimensions of brand personality, which are excitement, sincerity and ruggedness to predict CBR constructs which comprise of brand love, brand trust and brand loyalty. Convenience sampling method was utilized, in which the respondents are one of soft drink brand’s consumers based in Jakarta. All data were then gathered through an online survey. In total, 312 participants responded to the survey. Structural equation modelling (SEM), specifically partial least square (PLS) was employed to analyze the data. The results of the data analysis indicate that sincerity, excitement and ruggedness brand personality serve as the positive and significant predictors towards brand trust, brand love and brand loyalty. Both thetheoretical and practical contributions are discussed in this study.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of firm age, profitability, firm size and leverage on the disclosure of corporate Social responsibility. The sample used is the data 105 companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the years 2009-2011. Data analysis was performed with the help of the program PASW Statistics version 18.00. The results showed that the profitability and firm size has an influence on corporate social responsibility disclosure while firm age and leverage has no effect on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine whether 1a) sensory brand experience, 1b) affective brand experience, and 1c) behavioral brand experience can predict behavioral brand attitude. 2a) sensory brand experience, 2b) affective brand experience, and 2c) behavioral brand experience can predict cognitive brand attitude. 3a) sensory brand experience, 3b) affective brand experience, and 3c) behavioral brand experience can predict affective brand attitude. Sample was selected using convenience sampling method and data were collected using online questionnaire. In total 260 participants responded the survey. The result of this study indicate that sensory brand experience can’t predict positively behavioral brand attitude. Affective brand experience can predict positively behavioral brand attitude. Behavioral brand experience can predict positively behavioral brand attitude. Sensory brand experience can predict positively cognitive brand attitude. Affective brand experience can predict positively cognitive brand attitude. Behavioral brand experience can predict positively cognitive brand attitude. Sensory brand experience can’t predict positively affective brand attitude. Affective brand experience can predict positively affective brand attitude. Behavioral brand experience can predict positively affective brand attitude.

Abstract

This study was commenced in order to examine the impact that both perceived usefulness and perceived ease-of-use had toward consumers’ loyalty within the computer industry in China, either directly or indirectly through satisfaction and trust. This current study utilized the survey method; questionnaires were selected as the instrument which would be used to collect all of the data from the respondents. All of the questionnaires were electronically distributed through an online survey site to a total of 400 respondents, who originated from, or were living in, five cities in China. After gathering and assessing all of the collected data, a total of 346 items of data were deemed usable, thus enabling these sets of data to be further analyzed by this study. All of these data were further analyzed using the partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) method using SmartPLS 3.3.2 software. Based on the results obtained through the data’s analyses, the authors would like to conclude that both perceived usefulness and perceived ease-of-use had a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction, trust and customer loyalty within China’s computer industry. Furthermore, in this study, both customer satisfaction and trust have been found to positively mediate the impact of perceived usefulness and perceived ease-of-use toward customer loyalty; trust serves as a better mediator compared to satisfaction. Meanwhile, this study contributed to the expansion and the enrichment of the literature in the field of marketing by thoroughly examining the implementation of the technology acceptance model (TAM) in predicting customer loyalty within China’s computer industry.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and understand the effect of website design quality and service quality toward consumers’ repurchase intention in the Asian, European, American, and Australian e-commerce industry. This research implemented survey method, in which questionnaires were chosen as instruments for data collection. A total of 1000 questionnaires were electronically distributed to the respondents across four continents, in which a total of 869 were deemed usable. Out of 869 questionnaires, a total of 200 questionnaires collected from respondents living in the Asian continent, 189 questionnaires collected from respondents living in the American continent, 243 questionnaires collected from respondents living in the European continent, and 237 questionnaires collected from respondents living in the Australian continent. This research implemented PLS-SEM method to analyze and generate findings from the data. Based on the results generated from the analysis of the data, it could be concluded that in the Asian, Australian, and European continents, service quality played a more important and significant role in affecting consumers’ repurchase intention in the e-commerce industry compared to website design quality. In contrast, the results generated in this research also concluded that website design quality played a more important role in affecting consumers’ repurchase intention in the American e-commerce industry. Furthermore, customer satisfaction mediated the relationship between website design quality and service quality toward consumers’ repurchase intention in the Asian, Australian, European, and American e-commerce industry.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine whether 1) brand image can predict loyalty intention 2) brand credibility can predict loyalty intention 3) brand credibility can predict brand commitment 4) brand commitment can predict loyalty intention 5) brand commitment mediates the effect of brand credibility on loyalty intention. Sample was selected using convenience sampling method amounted to 173 respondents. Data processing techniques using structural equation modeling what helped by Smart PLS 3.2.7 program. The result of this study shows that brand credibility, and brand commitment have significant effect to predict loyalty intention, but brand image doesn’t, brand credibility has significant effect to predict brand commitment, and brand commitment mediates the effect of brand credibility on loyalty intention.

Abstract

This research aims to verify effect of packaging, social media marketing and electronic word of mouth (eWOM) on purchasing decisions. The sample in this research was 236 consumers of local brand clothing in DKI Jakarta province, who uses social media. Sampling using probability sampling method. Data analysis techniques in this research used the Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS - SEM) approach. Based on the results of the analysis, the results obtained if social media marketing and electronic word of mouth have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, while packaging has no positive and insignificant influence. The results of this study can provide information to companies about packaging, social marketing media and EWOM to increase local brand clothing sales. This research is the first study conducted to look at the effect of packaging, social media marketing and EWOM on the decision to purchase local brand clothing.Abstrak dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kemasan, pemasaran media sosial dan electronic word of mouth (eWOM) terhadap keputusan pembelian. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 236 konsumen busana merek lokal di provinsi DKI Jakarta, yang menggunakan media sosial. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode probability sampling. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS – SEM). Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh hasil jika pemasaran media sosial dan electronic word of mouth memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, sedangkan kemasan tidak memiliki pengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan informasi kepada perusahaan busana merek lokal mengenai kemasan, pemasaran media sosial dan EWOM untuk meningkatkan penjualan busana merek lokal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pertama yang dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh dari kemasan, pemasaran media sosial dan EWOM pada keputusan pembelian busana merek lokal.

Abstract

This research was conducted in order to uncover the effect of Reputasi Perusahaan, Kepuasan Merek and Sikap Merek, both direct and indirectly toward Loyalitas Konsumen in the Indonesian airlines industry. This research implemented survey method in which a total of 300 questionnaires were distributed to the respondents who participated in this research. After a thorough analysis, all of the data had been deemed valid and usable to be further processed in this research. All of the data were then further analyzed by using Partial Least Suares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) by using SmartPLS 3.2.8 modeling software. Based on the results of the data analysis, authors would like to conclude that both Reputasi Perusahaan and Kepuasan Merek had a positive impact on Loyalitas Konsumen, both directly and indirectly through Sikap Merek, in the Indonesian airlines industry.Abstrak dalam Bahasa Indonesia Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh reputasi perusahaan, kepuasan merek dan sikap merek terhadap loyalitas pelanggan pada industri penerbangan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan metode survei, dimana kuesioner dipilih dan digunakan sebagai instrumen untuk mengumpulkan data dari responden yang berpartisipasi didalam penelitian ini. Adapun kuesioner akan disebarkan kepada 300 responden yang berpartisipasi pada penelitian ini, dimana berdasarkan hasil analisis awal terhadap data penelitian, seluruh data dinyatakan valid dan dapat digunakan didalam penelitian ini. Setelah seluruh data berhasil dikumpulkan, maka data selanjutnya diolah dengan menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 3.2.8. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa reputasi perusahaan dan kepuasan merek berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas pelanggan, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui sikap merek, pada industri penerbangan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Online ads which are basically faster, more effective, and more accurate tend to be more engaging than traditional ads. The influence of online ads does not happen instantly, other factors contribute to the changes in consumer behavior to become more impulsive. Consumer need for cognition is the factor that mediates the relationship. Consumers who have need for cognition tend to be more easily influenced by online ads, especially when it's done repeatedly. Therefore, this study was conducted to examine the relationship between repeated online ads and consumer need for cognition for the changes in consumer behavior that was strengthened or weakened by the COVID-19 pandemic. Hypothesis testing was carried out by using Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis with SmartPLS software. The research results showed that repeated online ads and consumers' need for cognition had a positive influence on consumer buying behavior, but the COVID-19 pandemic had a negative effect.
