The purpose of this study was to find out how the prostitution process occurs in female commercial sex workers in the film Gangubai Kathiawadi. The theory used in this study is the theory of Ronal Barthes Semiotics which analyzes films with three stages of meaning, namely connotation, denotation and myth. This study used qualitative descriptive method. The approach that researchers use is qualitative with semiotic analysis. Data collection techniques are primary and secondary, with documentation collecting image forms obtained from screen captures and literature studies. The results of this study show that a woman who is trapped in the world of prostitution and becomes a female Commercial Sex Worker and is discriminated against by her customers and the surrounding community which also affects the children of Commercial Sex Worker women. Disturb just wants to get equal rights and justice without distinguishing from each other.
