PENERAPAN ETNOSAINS PADA PENGASAPAN IKAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SUHU DAN PERUBAHANNYA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DI SMP NEGERI 17 KOTA BENGKULU

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar pada pembelajaran etnosains pada pengasapan ikan materi suhu dan perubahannya di SMP Negeri 17 Kota Bengkulu dan mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran  suhu dan perubahannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desains One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 17 Kota Bengkulu dengan sampel kelas VII B. Penentuan sampel tersebut menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Instrument penelitian berupa lembar tes yang berbentuk soal essay. Hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan analisis one sample t-test diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 menunjukkan ada pengaruh etnosains ada pengasapan ikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan uji peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan uji N-gain terdapat 3 orang siswa memperoleh skor N-gain 0,8 sehingga termasuk kategori tinggi dan 26 orang siswa  ainnya termasuk kategori sedang karena memperoleh skor N-gain yang berkisar antara 0,4 sampai 0,7. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh etnosains pada pengasapan ikan dalam pembelajaran suhu dan perubahannya terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan kategori sedang dan tinggi.   Kata  kunci : Etnosains, Suhu dan Perubahannya, Hasil Belajar Siswa, Pengasapan Ikan   ABSTRACT   This study aims to determine learning outcomes in etnhoscience learning on fish fumigation temperature and its changes in SMP Negeri 17 Bengkulu City and knowing the improvement of student learning outcomes in temperature learning and its changes. This study used desains One-Group Pretest-Posttest. The population in this study were class VII  SMP Negeri 17 Bengkulu City with a sample of class VIIB. Determination of the sample using the Purposive Sampling technique. The research instrument in the form of a test sheet in the form of  essay question. Student learning outcomes based on one sample t-test analysis obtained by the Sig. (2-tailed) of  0,000 < 0,05 indicates that there is an effect of ethnoscience of fish fumigation on student learning outcomes. Based on the test of improving student learning outcomes with the N-gain test, there were 3 students who obtained an N-gain score of 0.8 so that it was included in the high category and 26 other students were in the medium category because they obtained an N-gain score ranging from 0.4 to 0, 7. The results of the study concluded that there was an influence of ethnoscience on fish fumigation in temperature learning and its changes to student learning outcomes and student learning outcomes increased in the medium and high categories.   Keywords : ethnoscience, temperature and its changes, student learning outcomes, fish fumigation
