Abstract

Abstrak: Kemampuan literasi baca tulis siswa kelas III SDN Citrodiwangsan 02 Lumajang masih tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media audio visual berbasis pertanian industrial terhadap kemampuan literasi baca tulis siswa materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tumbuhan.Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan metode kontrol grup desain.Sampel dalam penelitian siswa kelas III.Kelompok eksperimen sebanyak 27siswa dankelompok kontrol sebanyak26 siswa.Implementasi media audio visual berbasis pertanian industrial diberikan kepada kelompok eksperimen sedangkan kelompok kontrol tidak.Variabel yang diteliti adalah kemampuan literasibaca dan tulis. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan cara membandingkan nilai rata-rata LKPD siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata kemampuan literasi kelompok eksperimen 85 sedangkan skor rata-rata kemampuan literasi kelompok kontrol 73.Berdasarkan data tersebut membuktikan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual berbasis pertanian industrial tema pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tumbuhan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi baca tulis siswa kelas III SDN Citrodiwangsan 02 Lumajang. Kata kunci:literasi baca tulis, media audio visual, tematik Abstrack: The literacy skills of grade 3 students SDN Citrodiwangsan 02 Lumajang are still relatively low. Teacher doesn’t use instructional media. Students only do the assignments at book. This research aims to determine the effect of audio visual media based industrial agriculture on literacy skills. This research used quasi-experimental with control group design method. A sample of grade III.The experimental group was 27 students and the control group was 26 students. The implementation of audio visual media was given toexperimental group while the control group wasn’t. The variable was students' reading and writing literacy. To measure literacy skills by providing student’s work. After learning with audio visual media, students can write and present the stages of growth and development of coffee and banana plants. The research data were analyzed by comparing the average student worksheet scores. The results showed that the average score of the experimental group's literacy skills was 85 while the average score of the control group's literacy skills was 73. Based on these data it proves that the use of audio visual mediabased industrial agriculture on the growth and development of plants can improve literacy skills of grade III student at SDN Citrodiwangsan 02 Lumajang.
