Abstract

Digital pict to word game is a method used to make learning in the classroom more interesting which can increase students' interest in learning language. However, learning using games can make students undisciplined because it takes a long time. This study was conducted with the aim at finding out how using the digital pict to word game method to enhance the speaking skills of high school students. This study used classroom action research conducted at MA Darus Solah Jember. The  subject of this research were 19 students. The learning outcomes measured were speaking skills in the form offluency,pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar,and comprehension. Wilcoxon test were used to prossessed the data. The results showed that students' speaking skills improved after implementing the digital pict to word game in learning process. Thespeaking skills improved consisted of pronunciation, vocabulary and fluency. In conclusion, the digital pict to word game can increase students' speaking skills although it is not covered all aspects.
