Background: Growth is an indicator to see the nutritional status and health of children. Nutrition is needed by every living thing in the process of growth and development, especially during the first 1000 days of life. If the nutrition received is bad, it will have a big impact on life. The prevalence of stunting cases in Malang Regency in 2019 was 25.4%, there is a decrease to 23.8% in 2020. To prevent stunting, adequate nutritional intake can be given. Providing nutrition to infants aged over 6 months by providing solids. Provision of Homemade MPASI according to WHO recommendations, namely a balanced menu. Objective: to determine the effect of giving Homemade MPASI on the weight of infants aged 6-12 months. Methods: Pre-experimental research design with one group pretest posttest design. Sampling technique with purposive sampling the number of respondents 30 infants aged 6-12 months. Results: The baby's weight was measured before and after being given Homemade MPASI with a span of 1 month. The results tested using the Wilcoxon Test showed an increase of 0.547 points (between 0.478 to 0.616) statistically it was stated that there was a significant difference (sig/p = 0.000 0.05). Conclusion: Homemade MPASI can significantly increase baby's weight. Therefore it is recommended for mothers who have babies and toddlers to provide Homemade MPASI as an effort to prevent stunting.
