<![CDATA[It has been conducted research about the application of guided inquiry methods to develop studentsâ ability to carry out simple research on Scientific Method material in SMK 1 Pugaan. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), with research subjects 35 students of class X Mechanical Light Vehicle 1. The research instrument is student activity observational sheets, teacher activities observation sheet and student questionnaire responses. Learning was conducted in 2 cycles, where each cycle completed within three (3) meetings and exhibitions held at the end of cycle 2 work / work study students. Based on the results it is known that (1) the application of of guided inquiry successfully develop studentsâ research skills and understanding to make a simple research on scientific method material in class X Mechanical Light Vehicle 1 SMK 1 Pugaan Academic Year 2013/2014. (2) Overall student gave positive response to guided inquiry method, in which students agree that learning science with guided inquiry method appealing for students, making them easier to understand science, as well as help students when difficulties in solving problems.]]>
