Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze and explain the effects of the quality of working life, career development, and employee empowerment on the job satisfaction of employees of PT Penamas Nusaprima. This explanatory research uses the quantitative approach to assess the causal relationship between its dependent and independent variables. From the population of 1237 employees of PT Penamas Nusaprima, 120 people were selected as the respondents through probability sampling method and simple random sampling technique. The data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression supported by instrument test, classical assumption test, and statistics test. The hypotheses were tested using t test in order to identify the relationship between the dependent and independent variables. All of the assessments were performed in IBM SPSS 27. This study finds that quality of working life, career development, and employee empowerment positively and significantly affect job satisfaction. Therefore, the higher the employees’ quality of working life, career development, and empowerment, the higher their job satisfaction.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh kualitas kehidupan kerja, pengembangan karir, dan pemberdayaan karyawan terhadap kepuasan kerja pada karyawan PT Penamas Nusaprima. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksplanatori dengan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menguji hubungan kausalitas antarvariabel independen dan dependen. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 120 karyawan yang diambil dari populasi sebanyak 1237 karyawan PT Penamas Nusaprima. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan metode simple random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear berganda yang ditunjang dengan uji instrumen, uji asumsi klasik, dan uji statistik. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji t untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen melalui program IBM SPSS 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas kehidupan kerja, pengembangan karir, dan pemberdayaan karyawan masing-masing berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Dengan demikian, semakin tinggi kualitas kehidupan kerja, pengembangan karir, dan pemberdayaan karyawan, maka akan meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan.
