This study aims to describe the ways of expressing eroticism and the phenomenon of eroticism in modern Indonesian novels by male authors. This is done because in several recent Indonesian novels aspects of eroticism are expressed in various ways and are a reflection of the phenomenon of eroticism in real life. Stylistic theory and phenomenology are used as research analysis tools. The research method uses descriptive qualitative literature with objects in the form of the novel Orang-Oetimu by Felix K. Nesi, Telembuk: Dangdut and the Fucking Love Story by Kedung Darma Romansha, and Like Revenge, Longing Must Be Paid Completely by Eka Kurniawan. Methods of data collection in the from of reading, listening, and note-taking techniques. Methods of data analysis using the technique of description and content analysis. The findings of the researchers regarding how to express eroticism are in the form of: (i) depiction of pre-events, (ii) descriptions of events, (iii) exposure to news, (iv) making use of dreams and imagination, (v) through inner monologues, (vi) through natural metaphors , and (vii) disclosure through humor. While the findings of the phenomenon of eroticism are: (i) erotic interactions, (ii) intercourse, (iii) masturbation and masturbation behavior, (iv) sexual harassment, (v) fondling, and (vi) prostitution.
