Elementary school children are one of the groups that are easily affected by malnutrition. Several factors, including economic difficulties of parents and lack of nutritious food intake cause this. Nutrition knowledge is very important for the community, both from parents and children. Therefore, KKM group 57 UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim held a counseling program with the aim of providing knowledge about balanced nutrition obtained from the portion of food in one plate. The method used in this activity is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, a research process that involves problems and issues together and finds practical solutions through real action to make changes for the better. The techniques used are observation and documentation. The object of the research was grade 4 and 5 students of SDN 01 Kesamben, totaling 62 people. Counseling was carried out in their respective classrooms. The results obtained were their knowledge and understanding of the urgency of meeting nutritional needs and the importance of implementing the Isi Piringku program increased after the counseling was carried out.
